Light Artist kept in Dark
Artist Nadya Glawé, who designs light sculptures under the name Halo, is considering suing after discovering one of her works was used without her permission in an advertisement for Mercedes-Benz. It was the main feature in the two-page advertisement, she said. When she contacted the advertising agency, it offered her R5000. "That was not good enough," said Glawé. Her lawyer Reinhardt Buys said: "We will probably go to court."
NOTE: This matter was settled out of court
